Best Umrah Agency
Clear guidance on visas, documents and Umrah permits for pilgrims travelling from the UK.
Before you book flights and hotels, it is worth knowing which visa route applies to you. The right route depends on the passport you hold and your immigration status in the UK – not simply where you live.
Kabba Travels helps UK pilgrims understand their options, prepare the right documents and arrange the visa as part of their Umrah package. This page is a general guide; Saudi rules change from time to time, so we always confirm your exact requirements when you enquire.
British citizens are eligible for the Saudi tourist eVisa, which can be used to perform Umrah outside the Hajj season. It is normally a multiple-entry visa valid for one year, applied for online before travel.
If your passport is not on the eVisa list, you may still qualify if you hold UK settled status / Indefinite Leave to Remain, or a valid UK, US or Schengen visa that has already been used to enter that country. Bring proof of this status when you travel.
Pilgrims who do not qualify for a tourist eVisa can apply for a dedicated Umrah visa arranged through a licensed travel agent together with an accommodation and transport booking. We can advise on this when you send us your details.
Send us a copy of your passport details page and residence status when you enquire. Our team will check which route fits and tell you exactly what to prepare – no guesswork.
Many of our pilgrims live in the UK but hold passports from countries in Africa, South Asia or elsewhere. Living in the UK does not change your passport nationality, so the visa route that applies to you may be different from that of a British citizen.
If you rely on your UK residence to qualify, make sure your evidence is current – for example, your UK eVisa status should be up to date and linked to the passport you are travelling on. Airlines may check this before you board, so it is worth confirming early.
Your GP or a travel clinic can advise on your personal needs. Plan your journey as a whole – if you are transiting through or travelling from another country, extra requirements may apply.
A visa allows you to enter Saudi Arabia. To perform Umrah at Masjid al-Haram you also need an Umrah permit, booked through the official Nusuk app or platform. Permits are tied to a date and time slot, so book yours once your travel dates are confirmed.
Please note that tourist visas cannot normally be used for Umrah during the Hajj season. If you are planning to travel around Dhul Hijjah, speak to us first.
Yes. Holders of the Saudi tourist eVisa can perform Umrah outside the Hajj season, provided they also book an Umrah permit through Nusuk.
Tourist eVisas are often issued within a few days, but processing times vary. We recommend applying at least 2–4 weeks before travel, and earlier during Ramadan and school holidays.
In many cases, yes. UK residents with settled status, or with a valid used UK, US or Schengen visa, may qualify for the tourist route. Others can apply for an Umrah visa through a licensed agent. Contact us with your passport and residence details and we will advise.
Saudi rules now allow women to travel for Umrah without a mahram on most visa routes. Some group or family arrangements may still have specific requirements, so please check with our team.
Visa assistance can be included with our Umrah packages. Your written quotation will confirm exactly what is included before you pay.
No travel agent can guarantee a visa – the final decision always rests with the Saudi authorities. We will help you prepare a complete, accurate application to give you the best chance of success.
Tell us your passport nationality, UK residence status and preferred travel dates. We will confirm the right visa route and send you a tailored Umrah quotation.
